CARE & MAINTENANCE
Black Forest cuckoo clocks are robust, long-lasting timepieces. Occasionally wipe the case with a dry, soft cloth. The movement should be cleaned and oiled by a specialist every 5 years. Keep the clock away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations to protect the natural wood.

Delivery is free within Germany and throughout the EU; for all other countries the shipping cost is shown during checkout. Cervus Nobilis – The Hunting Clock
Hardly any motif is as deeply connected to Black Forest clockmaking tradition as the hunting clock. Since the 19th century, stags, game and hunting gear have adorned the region's most elaborate cuckoo clocks – a tribute to the forest, which has always been both material and motif for the carvers. The Cervus Nobilis continues this tradition: every detail is hand-carved and stained in warm walnut brown, until the clock looks like a piece of living forest on your wall.
Majesty With Antlers
Watching over it all is the stag – the Black Forest's noble game, a symbol of strength, calm and natural beauty. Its finely textured coat, alert eyes and sweeping antlers testify to the precision of the carving. It's flanked by crossed hunting rifles and bold oak-leaf ornaments, whose foliage frames the entire case.
Pheasant, Hare and Hunting Horn
To the left and right of the dial hang a pheasant and a hare as classic hunting quarry – worked out down to the individual feather and fur. Below them, a hunting horn and game bag complete the still life. Together they tell of a day's hunt in the Black Forest, just as carvers have captured it in wood for generations.
A Leaf Sets the Tempo
The pendulum picks up the theme too: a carved oak leaf within a ring swings calmly beneath the clock, giving it its steady rhythm. Together with the two pinecone weights, it creates the familiar image of a genuine Black Forest cuckoo clock – alive, mechanical, with no battery at all.
The Mechanical 1-Day Movement
Inside works a purely mechanical one-day movement made in Germany. The pinecone weights need to be pulled up just once a day – that's all this clock requires. On the hour, the door opens and the cuckoo calls the hour. The manual night shut-off lets you silence the cuckoo's call at any time.
