Carvings
The carved cuckoo clock is the oldest form of Black Forest clock: no little house, but a richly worked linden-wood gable – vine and oak leaves, a bird above the gable, stag and game with crossed rifles.
The models range from 20 to 75 cm and run on a mechanical 1-day or 8-day movement with pendulum and pine-cone weights, some also with an electronic movement. Every clock is painted, fitted and assembled by hand in Gütenbach in the Black Forest.
