CARE & MAINTENANCE

Black Forest cuckoo clocks are robust, long-lasting timepieces. Occasionally wipe the case with a dry, soft cloth. The movement should be cleaned and oiled by a specialist every 5 years. Keep the clock away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations to protect the natural wood.
SHIPPING & RETURNS

We ship every clock carefully packed and fully insured with DHL, usually within 3 to 5 working days. Delivery is free within Germany, across the entire EU and to the United States. For deliveries to the United States all import duties are included in the price as well, there is nothing to pay on delivery. For all other countries the shipping cost is shown during checkout and any customs duties are paid by the recipient. If you are not completely satisfied with your clock, you may return it within 14 days free of charge. A short message to info@schneider-clocks.com is all it takes.

Classic carving craftsmanship

The Avis Vinea presents the traditional Black Forest cuckoo clock in a particularly harmonious form. The carved bird above the gable, the boldly worked leaves and the warm brown tones give it a natural yet elegant presence.

Vine leaves as the defining motif

The finely worked leaves frame the dial and give the clock its unmistakable character. Their flowing form brings depth to the front and lets the carving come alive from every angle.

A timeless piece of the Black Forest

The dark wooden dial with Roman numerals sits quietly within the overall design. The pendulum, pinecone weights and clear symmetry underline the classic composition and make the Avis Vinea a tradition-rich eye-catcher for the home.

The Mechanical 8-Day Movement

Inside works a mechanical 8-day movement. Once fully wound, the clock runs for around a week, reliably driving both the pendulum and the cuckoo call. Afterwards the weights are simply drawn back up on their chains – a weekly ritual of genuine Black Forest clockmaking.
