Cuckoo clocks from the Black Forest are robust, long-lived timepieces. Wipe the case occasionally with a dry, soft cloth. The movement should be cleaned and oiled by a specialist workshop every 5 years. Keep the clock away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations to protect the natural wood.
We ship every clock carefully packed and fully insured with DHL, usually within 3 to 5 working days. Delivery is free within Germany, across the entire EU and to the United States. For deliveries to the United States all import duties are included in the price as well, there is nothing to pay on delivery. For all other countries the shipping cost is shown during checkout and any customs duties are paid by the recipient. If you are not completely satisfied with your clock, you may return it within 14 days free of charge. A short message to info@schneider-clocks.com is all it takes.

At the very top sits the stag's head with its mighty antlers, below it two rifles cross in the oak leaves. The pheasant sits on the left, the hare on the right, and a hunting horn curves around the dial. At the bottom hangs the game bag with its net.
Every element is worked in relief from the wood. Without music box or figures, the Venaticu lives entirely from its size and its wood: 48 centimetres high, it deserves a wall of its own.
Inside works a mechanical 8-day movement. Two pine cone weights of 1,260 grams each drive the time train and the cuckoo call, and once wound the clock runs for a full week. Then the weights are pulled back up on their chains, a weekly ritual of genuine Black Forest clockmaking.
The cuckoo calls on the hour and half hour. With the manual night shut-off it can be silenced at any time while the clock keeps running.
