CARE & MAINTENANCE
Black Forest cuckoo clocks are robust, long-lasting timepieces. Occasionally wipe the case with a dry, soft cloth. The movement should be cleaned and oiled by a specialist every 5 years. Keep the clock away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations to protect the natural wood.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
We ship every clock carefully packaged and insured with DHL, usually within 3–5 working days. Delivery is free within Germany and throughout the EU; for all other countries the shipping cost is shown during checkout. If you are not completely satisfied with your clock, you may return it within 14 days. Simply contact us at info@schneider-clocks.com.

Built by the Water
Where water flows, a mill has always clattered in the Black Forest: the Mühlenhäusle brings this piece of cultural landscape to your wall. A half-timbered house with white plaster and a rubble-stone base, with the wooden mill wheel at the water channel in front – every detail handcrafted and lovingly painted, from the firewood stack to the blooming little garden.
The Mill Wheel at the Channel
The clock's eye-catcher is the mill wheel on the left side of the house: water tumbles from the wooden channel onto the paddles, whose turquoise-tinted edges suggest the wet glimmer of the stream. Below, the hand-painted rubble-stone base continues the scene – just like the old mills that once stood on every stream in the Black Forest.
Dancing in the Gable
Beneath the curved roof, the gable opens into a small parlor: four hand-painted figures in traditional dress stand together behind the delicate balcony railing with its flower boxes. Above them watches the cuckoo door with its carved AS monogram – on the hour it opens, and the cuckoo calls the time across the farmyard.
Windows, Flowers, Details
To the right of the artfully turned wooden dial, a small window with red heart-shaped shutters and a flower box invites you to linger. White stones, a flower bed, and the dark green fir tree complete the picture – a miniature world where there's always something new to discover.
The Mechanical 1-Day Movement
Inside works a purely mechanical one-day movement made in Germany. The pinecone weights need to be pulled up just once a day – that's all this clock requires. The cuckoo calls the hour on every full hour; the manual night shut-off lets you silence it at any time.
