There's room at the regulars' table
Two friends have found their usual spot and raise a toast across the table. The waitress in her red skirt is already on her way with the next mugs, on the left the mill wheel turns by the fence, and on the right the firewood lies stacked. Two dark fir trees frame the house.
Red shutters with hearts, lace curtains and a chimney on the roof: the house is worked out down to the smallest detail. After the cuckoo call the dancing couples step onto the balcony, the music plays Edelweiss and The Happy Wanderer, and beer drinkers, waitress and mill wheel move along.
